School Introduction

ESL Program Introduction

The Program for Intensive English offers five levels of instruction with core classes (conversation, grammar and reading/writing) and electives (pronunciation, American idioms, intercultural communication, TOEFL/TOEIC preparation,vocabulary building, Business English, computer lab). The faculty all have advanced degrees in the field of teaching ESL and utilize current methods in their classes. There is a strong emphasis on communication skills. Advanced level students may take some college classes for credit. Graduates of the Program for Intensive English may enter Clackamas Community College with no TOEFL requirement. The international club offers many activities and trips each term.

Homestay: $2100 (3 months), plus a $250 application fee.
