ELS Ruston is located in a friendly southern town on the large campus of Louisiana Tech University, a comprehensive public research university. Louisiana Tech has extensive facilities and is located near the downtown area, with restaurants and stores. Ruston is between the larger cities of Monroe and Shreveport, Louisiana in the northern part of Louisiana. There are beautiful lakes and parks in the area for recreation. Weekend trips to Shreveport or the Mississippi River area offer weekend fun. Dallas is about 3.5 hours away by car. New Orleans is about 5 hours drive by car.

ESL Program Introduction

This location offers group Intensive (30 lessons per week), Semi-Intensive (20 lessons per week) and American Explorer (15 lessons per week) English programs.

Students in the Intensive, Semi-Intensive & American Explorer English Programs offer instruction and practice in all key language skills: speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading & writing. The Intensive English Program also offers afternoon elective classes that focus on specific interests (such as American Idioms, American Film, Current Events and American Culture).
