School Introduction

Intensive English Program students live the " American Experience" at the University of Miami. With a rich blend of languages and cultural interactions, our campus is an ideal place to listen to and understand English from all areas of the United States. Our suburban campus is not far away from the vibrant culture of Miami. Culture, music and fun are plentiful in the famed locales of South Beach and Coconut Grove.

ESL Program Introduction

For more than 50 years the Intensive English Program at the University of Miami has been preparing students from around the world in English as a Second Language. All IEP students enjoy international student programs, orientation and cultural adaptation sessions. They also receive academic advising and assistance with living accomodations.

Intensive Engllish Program classes are taught at five levels. Our skills based curriculum integrates reading, writing, listening and speaking.
These classes feature high tech media labs and classrooms.
