School Introduction

Liffey Linguistics is a small, family-run English language school located in south central Dublin. We are recognised by the Irish Department of Education for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language. The school is 10 minutes by bus from the city-centre. The area surrounding the school has many shops, pubs, restaurants, parks and leisure facilities. Many of our host families are within walking distance of the school, with others only a short bus journey away.

ESL Program Introduction

Our General English Courses comprise 20 lessons each week. All students receive a test on arrival to determine their level of English and are then placed in the appropriate class. We also offer Intensive English, English for Special Purposes and One-to-One as well as High School Placement for students aged 12 - 18 years who wish to spend one or more years in an Irish secondary school.
