School Introduction

At our school, students learn English through experience. Assignments get students out of the classroom and into the community to practice what they've learned. Our classrooms are spacious and bright with class sizes small enough to allow individualized ESL instruction. Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, we are convenient to transportation, activities, restaurants, and shopping. Our campus is located directly across the street from the landmark Vancouver Public Library. Our neighbourhood is clean, safe, and just steps away from all the services you need.

ESL Program Introduction

At Pacific-Global Language Centre our main focus is our students and what they need to learn English effectively. We combine the teaching of language skills with cultural interaction to prepare students who want to work and study in English and/or live in an English-speaking environment. We offer high-quality comprehensive programs to improve the English language skills of students from all levels. We offer general ESL classes, IELTS Test Preparation, Holiday Programs for Children and Youth and the Bridge Program for Children and Youth.

Schedule & Fees

We encourage students to start on the first Monday of the month; Tuesday if the Monday is a statutory holiday. We recognize that this doesn't fit with everyone's travel plans so we accept students every Monday.

Registration for Adult ESL Programs (one time; non-refundable) - $100.00 CA
Registration for Children/Youth ESL Programs (one time; non-refundable) - $130.00 CA
Materials Fee (cost for four weeks) - $40 CA for 4 weeks

Super-Intense ESL Program for Adults (30 hrs/week) -
$300 CA/week
Intense ESL Program for Adults (27 hrs/week) -
$280 CA/week
Semi - Intense ESL Program for Adults (24 hrs/week) -
$265 CA/week
Test Preparation Program for Adults (27hrs/week) -
$290 CA/week
Bridge Program for Children and Youth (Child:10-12yrs/ Youth 13-18 year old) (30 hrs/week) -
$375 CA/week(child)/ $315 CA/week (youth)

Housing/Accommodation Info

Students will have a private, furnished room and three meals a day. We look for caring families located in a safe neighbourhood and close to transportation. We ask them to include the student in family activities and help them with whatever they need to feel comfortable in Canada.
