School Introduction

Founded in 1898, Saint Norbert College is a private, Catholic university committed to a tradition of community and caring. Our mission is to provide a superior education that is personally, intellectually, and spiritually challenging. We are located in a small suburban town near Green Bay, Wisconsin (pop. 100,000+) on the banks of the Fox River only eight minutes from Green Bay Airport, three hours by car from Chicago, and two hours by car from Madison.
For the twelfth consecutive year, U.S. News and World Report has listed St. Norbert College in "America's Best Colleges", ranking St. Norbert among the top two private colleges in the Midwest. ESL Program Introduction

The ESL Institute offers intensive English courses for highly motivated students who wish to read, speak, hear, and write English for professional, personal or academic purposes. High school completion is required for admission. We offer instruction 20 hours weekly, small classes; four, eight and sixteen week sessions. Elementary, intermediate and advanced levels. We offer conditional admission to degree programs for qualified students. Our Summer programs begin in May, June, and July. Summer activities include trips and activities. We meet all students at the Green Bay (GRB) Airport. In summer and fall semester, we offer an optional afternoon TOEFL preparation course and multi-media computer lab. All students use e-mail and internet, and College food service and dormitories. No homestays. Free tutors are available afternoons. Graduation ceremony: certificate of attendance, certificate of completion.
