School Introduction

GEOS English Academy, San Francisco is located in the convenient and exciting downtown area close to world class shopping, restaurants and major transportation facilities such as the BART and Muni bus lines. Trains and buses stop right in front of the school.

Our Intensive English program contains 20 Instructional hours per week
with small classes (maximum of 14 students per class) and professional and experienced teachers.

GEOS offers special services to its students like one on one counseling with instructors, a volunteer program, GEOS Coffee Talk, and excursions throughout San Francisco. All students have free access to student computers and wireless internet as well as access to materials to help them succeed in third party testing like the TOEFL and TOEIC exams.

ESL Program Introduction

GEOS Full Time Courses are designed to help students improve their English ability, with a focus on conversation and communication. Language skills are developed through a comprehensive, multi-skilled learning system, taught by qualified native instructors.

GEOS believes that the fastest and most effective path to fluency is through conversation. Thus, students are encouraged to use their new language skills as quickly and as frequently as possible. Early, continued success in speaking and understanding helps build the confidence needed in real-life conversational situations. Building confidence is the primary goal of all GEOS language courses.

GEOS takes special care in choosing homestay families to maximize your enjoyment in San Francisco. Students can choose to live in the city of San Francisco or outside. Costs for homestay are $200.00 per week (in the city) / $180.00 per week (outside of the city) payable directly to the family.
