AEL is dedicated to helping international students achieve their educational and professional goals by gaining English language proficiency through an intensive and effective study program.
Conveniently located in the main Wilshire corridor near public transportation and west of the downtown civic center, AEL offers students a comfortable, enjoyable and friendly learning environment.
Classrooms and labs are equipped with modern computers and the latest software. Study rooms and library resources are available to enhance the student’s learning process.
INTENSIVE ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE COURSE
Students receive 20 hours of instruction per week in grammar, listening, reading, pronunciation, writing and conversational skills. Classes meet four hours daily, five days per week. AEL’s curriculum is offered in beginning to advance levels of English.To accelerate learning, the maximum number of students in each class is 15.
AEL teachers are well-trained ESL specialists with many years of experience in teaching international students. Our staff is welcoming and ready to help and advise you in attaining your educational goals.
