School Introduction

Centro Latino de Chelsea is a community-based human-services and education center that serves more than 5,000 Latinos and immigrants in Chelsea and Greater Boston every year. Centro Latino improves the quality of life of the community by helping people to increase their skills and knowledge, so that they may better provide for their families and contribute to their neighborhoods.

ESL Program Introduction

Centro Latino de Chelsea runs English as a Second Language, Spanish Literacy for Native Speakers, and Beginning Spanish classes for non native speakers all year round. Our E.S.L. classes primarily focus on assisting adults to attain an adequate level of English in order to successfully participate in the workforce in Massachusetts.

Our Spanish classes are geared towards professionals who need a working knowledge of the language in order to communicate with their clientele. We hold classes both at our center in Chelsea as well as onsite in many situations.

Schedule & Fees

Our classes generally run on 10 week cycles and meet for a total of 40 hours, nights and Saturdays. Our classes at the Center cost $200 a course. On site classes can be created and amended depending on the needs and availibility of the organization.
