School Introduction

AIU-ESL offers Flexible Entry (two week), Intensive (app. three month), and English Year (app. nine month) programs. Programs range in hours from 15 hours per week to 25 hours per week. Located in beautiful San Diego, California, AIU's campus is ideally situated on 160 acres of wooded, rolling terrain only 15 minutes from the beaches of Southern California and 20 minutes from the downtown area. AIU's student body includes students from over 80 different countries, which will allow you comfort, cultural enrichment, and ample opportunities to enrich your language skills and experience U.S. culture.

ESL Program Introduction

In the Intensive ESL program students will develop strong English skills through a rigorous program which includes instruction on foundational English skills, U.S. culture, and study skills which will help our students to succeed in a U.S. university as well as in social situations. The average Class size ranges from 6-10 per class. AIU-ESL offers many different classes such as TOEFL preparation, American Culture, Speaking Work out and many more.

Program Prices depend on number of hours of instruction taken, lengths of program, and housing options. For example, one academic quarter costs $ 4,495.00 including room and board on campus, student fees & 20 hours of instruction per week.
