School Introduction

Dominican University of California is located just 18KM North of San Francisco's famous Golden Gate Bridge, in San Rafael, California. Dominican's lovely and safe 32-hectare campus has excellent facilities, and is considered to be one of the most beautiful campuses in California. Students who complete the ELS Language Centers intensive program can gain satisfy the English requirement for admission to one of Dominican's excellent undergraduate programs, or its MBA - Global Strategic Management with no TOEFL.

ESL Program Introduction

ELS Language Centers students may choose either an Intensive English Program or Semi-Intensive English Program offering 12 levels of instruction (from Beginners to highly Advanced "Masters" levels). The Intensive Program of 30 lesson hours per week is the faster way to meet your study goals - whether personal, professional, or university-specific. The Semi-Intensive Program of 20 lesson hours per week meets these goals at a different pace and allows for more time in the afternoon for exploration and leisure. Both programs include English Structure & Speaking Practice (with grammar) and Reading & Writing and use the communicative method of in-class instruction. Both also include an Individualized Learning Plan through new state-of-the-art Language Technology centers.

A Prep Program for the TOEFL iBT is available at this location. Private instruction for Executives is also available.

GENERAL ENGLISH PROGRAMS:

TUITION (varies by program): $1055 to $1465 per 4 weeks

Application Fee: $135 (one-time fee) or $100 (if a New York state location)
Materials & Technology Fee: $55 per session
ELS Health Insurance Plan: $95 per session

PREP PROGRAM FOR THE TOEFL iBT:

START DATES: Vary from every 4 weeks to every 12 weeks, depending on option.

TUITION: $1680 (4 weeks); $3260 (8 weeks); $4890 (12 weeks), includes materials & technology fee
