Professional English Services (PES) offers customized English language courses for international professionals living, working, or studying in Washington, D.C. We provide English language support in pronunciation, writing, reading, speaking/oral fluency, TOEFL test preparation, business communication, and other language needs. We offer a flexible, professional, and fun approach to language learning

ESL Program Introduction

We offer private, paired and small group courses as well as language assistance on dissertations, theses and work projects. Our courses can focus on pronunciation, writing, conversation, grammar, listening skills or any combination of English language skills. We also offer specialized courses for children and families.

Schedule & Fees

All courses are customized and can begin and end according to your schedule and our availability. There is no application, registration, or materials fee.

Private tutorials:
$65 / hour for customized course of study
$50 / hour for instructional conversation

Group lessons:
$65 / hour for groups of 2
$75 / hour for groups of 3
$100 / hour for groups of 4

Courses for children:
$55 / hour for private tutorial
$30 / child / hour for groups of 2
$35 / child / hour for groups of 3 or 4
$40 / hour for private tutoring for homework in any school subject
