School Introduction

Walter Jay M.D. Institute was founded in 1994 by the well respected Dr. Walter Jayasinghe M.D. himself. Along with our E.S.L. Program, our Institute also provides a LVN Program, Medical Assistant Program, Massage Therapy Program and Phlebotomy Program. I-20 Forms are available for M-1 and F-1 Visas for those who qualify. FSA funds are available for those who qualify through FAFSA. We are located in the heart of Los Angeles near Hollywood, Downtown L.A., Koreatown, Little Tokyo, China Town, Dodger's Stadium, U.S.C., Cal State LA, Beverly Hills and 15 minutes away from the beach.

ESL Program Introduction

Our intensive E.S.L Program has available 5 levels of E.S.L. Our E.S.L Program consists of levels ranging from Beginner's to TOEFL Preparation Course. Lessons are concentrated around improving Listening, Writing, Speaking, Reading and Pronunciation Skills. Communication (both listening and speaking) is considered vital in learning the English Language. Our E.S.L. classes have a maximum capacity of 12 stduents in each class to ensure enough "Student To Instructor" communication practice time. Morning and Evening classes are available for convenience.
