ESL Program Introduction

Thoreau Language Institute of English (TLI) is an English language school for international executives and students. Some of the programs TLI offers are Intensive English Programs, Customized Executive Programs, University and TOEFL Preparation and Internships for on-the-job training. For housing accommodations, we have a special selection of homestay families as well as dormitory facilities. TLI will expose you to the English language and American culture while fulfilling your academic goals and professional needs. Our teaching methodology makes us unique and our concentration on conversation and communication will enhance your command of the English language. TLI’s small classes (average class size is 7 students) and state-of-the-art language lab equipment make learning more personable. On TLI’s field trips, you will become familiarized with the rich culture of Boston and its vicinities as well as daily business operations. TLI offers an environment where achievement is maximized!
