School Introduction

The Language Spot is a small private school offering second language classes for adults and children. Languages include English (ESL), Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian and German.

Intensive and non-intensive classes available.
Classes for adults and young adults. Family and children's classes also available.

Our fun and interactive approach uses a combination of guided immersion, multiple intelligences, TPR and other modern and effective strategies.

We are located in Ashland, OR, a lovely mountain resort town with plenty of outdoor recreation, art and theater. It is home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Southern Oregon University.

ESL Program Introduction

Classes for Busy People!/ Clases para personas ocupadas!

We offer two English classes, Beginner and Intermediate. Classes meet once a week or twice a week in the mornings or evenings. Each 1 1/2 hour class includes:

Grammar
Speaking
Vocabulary/Reading
Writing

Very methodical approach using a variety of books and materials. Instructor/Director has an EdM. in Adult Education and curriculum design and over eight years of ESL teaching experience.

semi-intensive tuition $108 (18 hours, six weeks-meets twice a week)
