School Introduction

Limerick International Study Centre (LISC) is an English Language school situated within the University of Limerick campus. The campus of University of Limerick is considered to be the most beautiful university campus in Ireland. Our students can enjoy university lifestyle and the facilities in the campus. All our teachers are native English speakers with qualifications approved by the Irish Department of Education and Science. The School organises a variety of activities in the afternoon including Limerick City tour, galleries tour, Irish Coffee Making Contest, Culture Night, Pub Night and many more to ensure the students have the opportunities to practice their English and experience Irish life and culture.

ESL Program Introduction

Limerick International Study Centre offers both short term and long term English language programmes. They include General English for Adults, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), English for Tourism, Medical English, English for Technology, English for Engineering, English for Business, English for Nursing, Cambridge examinations preparation courses, IELTS, TOEIC and University preparation courses. The School offers English language courses from Elementary to Advanced levels. The International Diploma in ESOL is awarded by the City and Guilds, a Royal Chartered organisation in the UK.
