School Introduction

The University of Nevada, Reno has a proven record of academic excellence and for the 10th straight year has been listed in the “America’s Best Colleges” issue of US News and World Report. Lombardi Recreation is a fully equipped recreation center which includes the most modern exercise equipment, an Olympic size pool and much more. ESL Program Introduction

The Intensive English Language Center (IELC) at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) offers a full-time English as a Second Language program for students who wish to pursue academic degrees or for those who just want to brush up on their English language skills. Qualified students who complete the advanced level of the IELC may enter Nevada Universities without TOEFL. The IELC is a member and has met the standards of the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP).
