School Introduction

Fairmont State College's 90-acre campus is located on a beautiful wooded hillside surrounded by low-lying mountains. The college is a dynamic co-educational state college which offers one-year certificates, two-year associate, and four-year bachelor degrees in over 100 areas of study.

ESL Program Introduction

The ESL Program at Fairmont State College offers year-round courses for international students in personalized programs. Our study programs are designed to prepare new international students with the needed skills to be successful in an American college classroom. We also offer an intensive class package for students with TOEFL scores below 500 that is designed to not only improve test scores, but to also provide needed individual tutoring, advising, and opportunities that will improve all English communication skills.
