The House of Tutors is located in Austin, the capital city of Texas and also the city known as "The Music Capital of the World". Surrounded by lakes and hills, Austin offers many entertainment opportunities. Our school is located just a few blocks from the University of Texas, the largest university in the United States. Our students have access to UT's recreational facilities, libraries, museums and more!

ESL Program Introduction

The Intensive American English Institute offers courses in Listening/Speaking/Pronunciation, Grammar, Reading, Writing, and TOEFL preparation. Small classes and a friendly, caring staff allow for personal attention to maximize learning. Free weekly activities such as conversation club, movie club and gardening club create opportunities for students to interact with each other and improve their language skills. Field trips, pot-lock lunches, ice cream parties and holiday parties provide additional opportunities for students to socialize and learn about American culture. Students can also enjoy the benefits of a language listening lab and a computer room with free internet access. Visa and immigration assistance is available to all students, and we issue I-20 documents to those students applying for an F-1 visa.
