School Introduction

ELS Language Center's SUMMER ONLY Juilliard location is in the building with The Juilliard School (one of the most prestigious music and dance schools in the USA) and is in the heart of Manhattan, walking distance to several New York City attractions. Public transportation, restaurants, shopping and Lincoln Center (with some of the world's finest music, dance and theatre offerings) within a short block or two. Students with special interests in music or dance often seek out private instruction with Juilliard School instructors or students after ELS classes. Private music/dance instruction is at an additional cost and handled directly between the student and the instructor. However, ELS can assist the student in seeking out these types of opportunities.

ESL Program Introduction

This location offers the Big Apple Language & Culture Program, which combines English study with a cultural experience in New York City. The course includes two hours of General English and two hours of American Culture, Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, students have teacher-led excursions that connect to their studies, exploring some of New York City's unparalleled collection of cultural, financial and media institutions.

This program is offered in 3 week sessions on July 7 and July 28, 2008.
