Houston, America's fourth-largest city, is the center of the energy industry, a major international port, and home to one of the world's largest, most advanced medical centers. ELS/Houston is located adjacent to the University of St. Thomas and ELS students can use many of the university facilities.

ESL Program Introduction

This location offers group Intensive (30 lessons per week), Semi-Intensive (20 lessons per week) and American Explorer (15 lessons per week) English programs.

Students in the Intensive, Semi-Intensive & American Explorer English Programs offer instruction and practice in all key language skills: speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading & writing. The Intensive English Program also offers afternoon elective classes that focus on specific interests (such as American Idioms, American Film, Current Events and American Culture).

A Business English program is also available (30 lessons per week) for up to 3 sessions. This program focuses on Business vocabulary and conversation pertaining to business.

Private instruction for Executives is also available.

GENERAL ENGLISH PROGRAMS:

TUITION (varies by program): $1055 to $1465 per 4 weeks

Application Fee: $135 (one-time fee) or $100 (if a New York state location)
Materials & Technology Fee: $55 per session
ELS Health Insurance Plan: $95 per session
