ELS/Philadelphia is located just 25 minutes from downtown Philadelphia on the beautiful and safe camput of St. Joseph's University. It is a private liberal arts university affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church and administered by the Jesuits. The 22-hectare campus is located in a suburban residential area of Philadelphia. Enrollment at the undergraduate level includes 2,800 full-time and 1,200 part-time students.
Philadelphia, the birthplace of the United States and the second-largest city on the East Coast, is a modern yet historic city offering a lively experience in American Culture. Students can enjoy weekend visits to Washington DC, New York, Boston, Atlantic City and Niagara Falls and Six Flags Great Adventure.
This location offers group Intensive (30 lessons per week), Semi-Intensive (20 lessons per week) and American Explorer (15 lessons per week) English programs. A TOEFL iBT Prep Program (30 lessons per week) will also be offered starting September 17, 2007.
Students in the Intensive, Semi-Intensive & American Explorer English Programs offer instruction and practice in all key language skills: speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading & writing. The Intensive English Program also offers afternoon elective classes that focus on specific interests (such as American Idioms, American Film, Current Events and American Culture).
The comprehensive, 12-week TOEFL iBT Prep Program (30 lessons per week) offers practice in reading & listening skills, writing and speaking, as well as test-taking strategies to help increase the TOEFL score. Contact ELS for the special program dates.

TUITION (varies by program): $1055 to $1465 per 4 weeks
Application Fee: $135 (one-time fee)
Materials & Technology Fee: $55 per session
ELS Health Insurance Plan: $95 per session

PREP PROGRAM FOR THE TOEFL iBT:
START DATES: Vary from every 4 weeks to every 12 weeks, depending on option.
TUITION: $1680 (4 weeks); $3260 (8 weeks); $4890 (12 weeks), includes materials & technology fee
