Career and Language School
BIR is a career and language learning center dedicated to improving the oral and written communication skills of students from Chicagoland's diverse neighborhoods as well as from over 25 countries around the globe. Fast, focused, flexible training is available. International students with foreign student visas receive visa guidance in all issues ranging from application to practical training and school transfer. BIR is dedicated to providing students the best training and language instruction possible.

BIR has three convenient locations in Chicago.
The main campus is located on Chicago's North Side (3601 W. Devon) surrounded by diverse ethnic neighborhoods, shopping centers and safe and affordable residential areas.
There is also a downtown campus at 828 S. Wabash in the heart of Chicago's Loop. The Loop is home to one of the finest collections of world-class cultural attractions to be found anywhere and is easily accessible via public transportation from anywhere in the city.

The newest campus on West Belmont (6240 W. Belmont Ave) is located on the Northwest side in the center of a popular and interesting European neighborhood.

ESL Program Introduction

BIR ESL program has three distinct characteristics: quality, flexibility and affordability. Educational effectiveness is maintained through rigorous assessments, student reviews, and highly selective professor hiring. BIR has 8 levels of study accommodating individuals with varying language improvement needs. Day, Evening and Weekend courses are available. BIR also offers focused professional education programs in Healthcare, Business, Information Technology and Manufacturing for those interested in career skills in addition to language. BIR tuition is competitively priced and meets all certification requirements for those students eligible for financial aid.
