School Introduction

Pine Manor College English Language Institute is located on the campus of Pine Manor College, a four-year undergraduate school. ESL students have access to the college dining hall, fitness center, library, computer lab, language lab, shuttle service, tennis court, and free laundry. Also close by are a golf course and swimming pool. The campus is located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, a quiet, affluent suburb of Boston. Public transportation is within walking distance of the campus. It takes 20 minutes to get to downtown Boston by public transportation. It is also a short bus trip to Cape Cod, the mountains of New Hampshire, Salem, Massachusetts, and Newport Rhode Island.

ESL Program Introduction

The ESL program is offered every four weeks from September through June, and every two weeks in July and August. We offer Intensive English, University Preparation, General English, Internships, Professional Studies, Private Lessons, TOEFL preparation, and Teacher Training. Written TOEFL exams are offered every 4 weeks. Test of Spoken English exams are also offered every 4 weeks. Activities and Excursions such as shopping trips, Boston tours, beach trips, and on-campus parties, are offered throughout the year.
