CVIC is located in the business section of the City of Courtenay in the Comox Valley. All amenities such as Bus, Museum, Library, Restaurants, Recreation Center, Sports Park, Art Gallery, Theaters etc. are within a five minute walk from the school (CVIC).
CVIC is located on the corner of 6th Street and Cliffe Avenue above Yamato's Japanese Restaurant. Our rooms are air conditioned, quiet and comfortable to give you the greatest advantage in learning English. All staff and teachers at CVIC are completely qualified and dedicated to a profession they love. You could not be in better hands.
The Comox Valley is a very clean and pristine area. A healthy natural ecology is of paramount importance to all that live here. You can safely drink clean water from the glacier fed river that runs through Courtenay!
CVIC offers a variety of English courses such as Conversational English (120 hours per month), High School Preparation, Working Holiday Preparation, Community Volunteer Program, and some very special custom designed group programs.
CVIC is open year round for your convenience. Our teachers are, of course, fully qualified and will lead you toward successful attainment of your English language goals. Our community volunteer program is free to our fulltime students and opportunities are quite varied. School led activities are to numerous to list here. However, each activity is chosen for it's special values such as educational, exercise, enjoyment, team work, new experience etc.
We offer a Homestay program with special families who look forward to welcoming you and helping you wherever they can. We also offer Farmstay and families with riding horses.
