Boston, America's education capital, is an excellent place to study English as a second language. Kaplan's Boston City Center is ideally situated at One Congress Street in the heart of downtown's Haymarket Area, where the Financial District, the North End and Government Center all meet. These first-class facilities are very close to all the major lines of public transportation; so traveling to the center is very convenient. For the interested student, Boston has museums, historic sites, beautiful neighborhoods, great restaurants and fantastic shopping. One can easily visit Cape Cod, New York City or Montreal in day or weekend trips via train, plane, or bus.
Birthplace of the American Revolution, Boston is one of the oldest cities in the United States and is home to many prestigious universities. Boston is close to the beautiful Atlantic beaches of Cape Cod, the plentiful ski mountains of Vermont, and has excellent train, air, and bus connections to New York City, Washington, D.C., and Montreal — all popular weekend destinations.
