Kaplan's Miami City Center is conveniently located in the safe suburb of Coral Gables, across the street from the University of Miami campus, and within walking distance of the Miami Metro system, which links many parts of Miami's metropolitan area. For international students interested in pursuing an educational experience, Miami hosts several excellent institutions: University of Miami, Miami Dade Community College, University of Florida, and Barry University among others.
Miami, often referred to as the American Riviera, has long been a magnet for celebrities, sophisticates, and fun-lovers from around the world, who thrive on the city's international atmosphere, fantastic beaches, cafes and chic restaurants. In the Arts, Miami hosts the City Ballet, the New World Symphony, and the Jackie Gleason Theater. There are also several museums: Wolfsonian Foundation, the Sanford L. Ziff Jewish Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Miami Art Museum, and of course, the recently renovated Bass Museum.
