There are also excellent hiking and rock climbing opportunities at Snoqualmie Falls and Mount Rainier, one of the highest mountains in the United States. In downtown Seattle students can wander and stop to rest in one of its famous coffee shops or bookstores.
The Seattle City Center is located one block from the University of Washington and right on "The Ave," the center of activity for students from the campus.
