School Introduction

Nomen Global Language Centers is the largest private ESL school in the U.S. Intermountain West. It has been in operation for over 8 years. The faculty are chosen for their interest in students and their expertise in ESL. During any given semester there are students from 20-30 different countries. The Salt Lake and Provo campuses of Nomen Global are located in some of the safest and best places in the United States of America. In the 1990's, Provo was selected twice as the best place to live in the United States. In 2004, it was selected as the number 1 safest place to live in the U.S. In 2002 the Winter Olympics were held in Salt Lake City and the surrounding ski resorts and sports facilities. International executives from Asia and South America have studied at Nomen Global in preparation for their increased participation in the world of international commerce. One of the mainstays of our program is homestay with an American family where the student is fully immersed in the American culture and must use English to communicate on a daily basis.

ESL Program Introduction

The faculty at Nomen Gobal is comprised of teachers and staff who have extensive backgrounds in ESL and teaching. At any given time, we have one or two facutly with their doctorates, two to five with their masters degrees and several with their batchelors degrees in teaching or other related fields. Language specialists for each of the major language groups are on staff and are available to counsel with students during the school day. Through a partnership with Global TESOL College, we offer an international certification in TESOL. We guarantee a job for native or near-native English speakers once they complete the one-week TESOL certification course.
