The Atlanta English Institute (AEI) aims to provide instructional excellence as well as instructional integrity in ESL and test preparation. Whether your dreams are great or small, our experienced, professional instructors will help you fulfill your dreams in a comfortable, challenging environment. AEI is conveniently located in the heart of Atlanta's international community. We are 10-15 minutes from downtown Atlanta (and CNN and Coca-Cola museums, as well as the Centennial Olympic Park) with immediate access to major freeways and public transportation.
Communications and test preparation specialists since 1993, we offer a full range of programs and courses, for those with no English background to those who wish to master the language. Our test preparation courses include courses covering the SAT, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, TOEFL, TSE, TOEIC, and many others.
Our language instructors – all of them native speakers and experienced, English/ESL teachers by vocation – carefully tailor their teaching to each student. Here, no one is a number; instead, each person is an individual. With all of our classes limited to nine students, you’re certain to receive the kind of individual attention that makes learning effective, joyful and memorable.
In teaching language, we instill a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary, but always aim at communication. We help students feel comfortable using authentic American English in real-life situations: the university or high school classroom, the workplace, the professional world. Understanding the importance of cultural awareness to language learning, built into the curriculum are opportunities for students to experience many aspects of contemporary American life.
