Located in a quiet suburb of Cork city, the South of Ireland Language Centre, provides the ideal ambience for those wishing to learn English. Cork is an historic city with a rich cultural heritage. Established in 1969, the South of Ireland Language Centre is a family run school catering for students of all ages.

ESL Program Introduction

Comprehensive progarammes are provided for both adult and junior students. The summer courses offer fifteen hours of English tuition per week, a weekly programme of afternoon activities and full day excursions on Saturdays to scenic locations. We have specialised in English language courses for junior students since 1967. The programme has changed a lot in that time and we have always offered flexibility in the programmes we offer. Examples of variations to the standard programme which we currently offer, including weekend trips to Galway and/or Dublin, full day excursions to outdoor educational centres enabling activities such as sailing and canoeing and horse riding

We also offer rugby camps and soccer camps in conjunction with the course if there is sufficient demand.
