School Introduction

ELIBA is sponsored by the nonprofit organization Asians for Job Opportunities in the Bay Area (AJOB). Since 1983, we have provided quality instruction and service at a low price to students from all over the world. ELIBA students also receive social services counseling and bilingual assistance. We are located in the heart of downtown Berkeley, close to the Downtown Berkeley Bay Area Rapid Transportation (BART) station as well as the Univeristy of California, Berkeley and Vista Community College. In Berkeley, students can enjoy the experience of living in a college town, meeting other American students all while have one of the world's great cities, San Francisco, only 30 minutes away.

ESL Program Introduction

ELIBA offers Intensive English and TOEFL Preparation in a small class setting. We have all levels of instruction from beginner to advanced. In addition to receiving quality education from experienced teachers, students enrolled at ELIBA receive free conversation and computer literacy classes as well as group and tutorial instruction with our Conversation Partner program.
