School Introduction

ESL Wilderness Adventure is a family operated guest ranch, hugging the shoreline of pristine Eagle Lake, in the breathtaking Chilcotin country, in the coastal mountains of British Columbia Canada. This adventure destination is rich with Canadian traditions, it is a trip back in time to the western frontier with vast cattle ranches, wilderness and wildlife. Eagle Lake ranch is a working cattle ranch surrounded by a 20,000 acre cattle range. During their stay our guests may participate in daily ranching functions from making hay to driving cattle.

ESL Program Introduction

Our students stay in a cozy handcrafted log guest house, featuring a floor to ceiling rock fireplace, sleeping loft and two full bathrooms. Three delicious meals each day are prepared on a wood cook stove and served in the main house with our family.

Guests are immersed in the English language for optimum learning. We have semi private English lessons, custom designed to each seasons variety of wilderness activities. The students also have private riding lessons in the safety of our riding ring.

Daily rate: $125.00
All Inclusive Tuition: Semi private lodging, 3 meals each day, horseback riding lessons, canoeing, hiking, jet boating, winter and Christmas programs, field trips. English as a Second language lessons.
