Intensive English Institute Houston is an ESL school that offers intensive English classes and private tutoring services. Located in the heart of a multi-ethnic area, IEI wants you to succeed and be an active participant in the international community. The school is directly accessible to public transportation and close to many restaurants and shopping areas.

ESL Program Introduction

IEI provides high quality English training in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and conversation at three levels: beginner 1A & 1B, intermediate 2A & 2B and advanced 3A & 3B. IEI also offers iBT TOEFL preparatory classes. The morning intensive English program consists of 160 hours (approximately 8 week sessions). Classes are held from 9am - 11:15am and from 11:30am - 1:45pm, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and sometimes Fri. depending on the session. Sessions start about every 2 months (check website for exact dates). IEI class sizes are kept small so that you learn more efficiently and productively.

Private tutoring for special purposes such as pronunication, conversation, standardized test prep, presentations, etc. are also offered during off-peak hours at IEI or at student's location. Please call more information.
